Lovely and cozy apartment in Trastevere, one of the most delightful and old neighborhood of Rome. A fantastic location in the historical centre of the city in a small and quiet little street a few meters away from Piazza Santa Maria in Trastevere, the main heart of the area (SEE LOCATION MAP) Piazza Navona and Pantheon can be reached by a short walk. The apartment is very nicely furnished and disposes of a small private terrace where you can comfortably seat surrounded by the charming old roofs of Trastevere.  It is Ideal for 2/3 persons. Private shuttle service from and to the airport is available on request.

THE APARTMENT

The apartment has been fully renovated and is very nicely furnished. It is on the ground floor and you will access it directly from Via della Pelliccia, a nice small alley close to PIazza Santa Maria in Trastevere. It is composed by entrance, one big room, kitchen, full bathroom and terrace on the upper floor. The large main room is provided with a double bed, TV set, table with chairs and a nice sofa bed can can comfortably accommodate a third person. Trough a winding staircase located in the living room you will access a charming private terrace provided with table and chairs: you will be surrounded by of the famous roofs of the medieval Trastevere, away from street noise. The kitchen is quite small but fully equipped (fridge, stove). The bathroom is provided with shower. In the entrance there is a vast wardrobe, linens and towels are provided. The flat has very high ceilings and, though it is so close to the main Trastevere night attractions, it is very quiet, and you will  surely enjoy its cozy atmosphere.

THE AREA

Trastevere  is an extremely well-liked area both by Romans and visitors. During the day it has the busy look of a small Italian town, with small shops, artisans, markets, people chatting and drinking their cappuccino. In the evening it turns into the most lively area in the city, with restaurants, pubs, wine bars and pizzeria of any kind. Beside the night life there are of course many things to see in Trastevere and many places of interest to visit, but the best suggestion I can give you is to  take a long walk and get lost in its narrow streets,  you will see one of the best and non contaminated medieval architecture of Rome, where live together clothes hanging from the windows to dry and spectacular penthouses, people that live in the area since always and new inhabitants coming from all over the world: in Trastevere there is place for everybody. The apartment is  very easy to reach. The tramway line 8 stops close by in Viale Trastevere and connects to the Stazione Trastevere or Largo Argentina (Pantheon, Piazza Navona) in less than five minutes. Other bus lines are: line H that leads to Termini Station, and line 23, that connects with  Stazione Ostiense.

  • Minimum stay four nights. For shorter stays check availability one week before arrival.

  • 20% of total amount is required as deposit when booking.
  • The deposit must be sent in Euro by bank transfer or check, or by  personal check in USD orGBP.
  • The reservation is considered valid upon receipt of the advance payment.
  • Full payment will be due in Euro upon check in. No credit cards accepted.
  • Any changes regarding arrival dates have to be notified by fax or e-mail at least 15 days prior to arrival, otherwise the deposit will be lost.
